Heslinga and Kleinmaus Named New Principals at SVA Certified Public Accountants

SVA Certified Public Accountants is proud to announce that Lynn Heslinga and Adam Kleinmaus have recently been promoted to Principal. The SVA Board of Directors announced these new promotions effective September 1, 2021.

Lynn has been with SVA for 11 years and focuses her expertise on the real estate and nonprofit industries. In her role, she oversees and performs audits for owners of affordable multifamily housing units receiving Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. She also manages and performs audits for owners of projects receiving federal financial assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In addition to her real estate expertise, she also manages and performs audits and tax services for a variety of nonprofit organizations.

Adam also has been with SVA for 11 years and has expertise in the real estate and nonprofit industries. In his role, Adam consults with real estate developers and property managers on proposed developments, developments in the construction phase, and property management issues. He advises on income tax, deal structuring, and operational issues. Adam’s experience also includes working with entities receiving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Certified Historic Structure (CHS) Tax Credits.
