SVA’s Adam Kleinmaus and Douglas Berry Present Webinar for Housing Colorado on Developing With LIHTC in Colorado

SVA Certified Public Accountants professionals Adam Kleinmaus, CPA and Douglas Berry, CPA, CGMA will present a webinar, titled 2021 Developing with LIHTC in Colorado, on April 22, 2021 for Housing Colorado.

In the current environment, there are a multitude of structuring and financing options available to affordable housing developers. This workshop will take a dive into several of the unique opportunities and challenges to be aware of when developing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) in Colorado, discuss various financing tools, and walk through a LIHTC proforma and many of the key elements necessary in putting together a LIHTC transaction.

Adam is a Principal with SVA Certified Public Accountants, S.C., with expertise in the real estate industry. In his role, he manages and performs audits for owners of affordable multifamily housing projects receiving Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credits or financing through government agencies, including the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Rural Development. He also consults with developers and property managers on proposed developments, developments in the construction phase, and property management issues.

Douglas is the Principal-in-Charge of Assurance Services at SVA Certified Public Accountants and serves as the Designated Audit Quality Partner for SVA’s membership in the Governmental Audit Quality Center of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He helps clients manage risk within their organization through assurance services such as financial statement audits and consulting with clients on internal control design and organizational governance.
