Nancy Mehlberg Named Notable Leader in Accounting

SVA Certified Public Accountants is proud to congratulate Nancy Mehlberg for being named a Notable Leader in Accounting by BizTimes Milwaukee. Nancy is a Principal and leads the Management Advisory Services practice.

“Nancy drives innovation and has grown firm revenue with her leadership in conceptualizing and launching new product lines,” said Matt Vanderloo, SVA CEO. “During the pandemic — and still to this day — Nancy took charge to help the business community.”

Nancy’s many accomplishments include developing the Value Building service to help business owners assess and grow the value of their companies and launching the Client Accounting service to streamline processes for busy business owners. She also established SVA’s Accounting Software service line and implements new software for clients as a Sage Intacct Certified Implementor.

During the pandemic, Nancy presented educational webinars and articles on the Paycheck Protection Program and Employee Retention Credits. She helped hundreds of businesses with their funding applications and continues to provide support to clients as they navigate a difficult economic climate.

Nancy is passionate about mentoring the next generation. She is a leader in the Women of SVA initiative, a group that provides education, mentorship, and support to all SVA women, regardless of their role or level in the organization.

Internally, Nancy is integral in effecting beneficial change by developing and analyzing new processes to increase efficiency, implementing new software, and managing work groups to foster accountability.

Nancy embodies SVA’s core values of Serving People Better through her philanthropic efforts and giving back to the community. She is on SVA’s Board of Directors and volunteers for Hunger Task Force and SHARP Literacy.

Notable Leader nominees must be based in southeast Wisconsin and be currently serving in a senior level role at their firm. They must also hold a leadership position in their industry outside of their own organization, have made a significant contribution to advancing workplace equality at their own workplace or beyond, and act as a role model or mentor.
