Gary Nevermann had a dream 30 years ago to start his business. Today, he is the president and owner of Nev’s Ink - a manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels and tapes for the healthcare field selling in 50 states and 16 countries. When he was getting his business started, Gary interviewed five accountants and knew immediately SVA was the right choice. 30 years later, his business is thriving and he credits SVA in playing a big part in that success.
“The SVA team listens and pays attention to what I say. They are excited about our business issues today and our goals for the future,” says Gary.
Nev’s Ink has grown, moved, and enlarged three times. Each time they looked to SVA for advice and guidance to make sure the numbers made sense and it was the right business decision. “SVA plays a big part in our business decisions. They identify needs before we can. They review our cash flow and provide analysis and recommendations to guide us into the future,” continues Gary.
SVA looks at the internal operations and provides input on policies, procedures, and internal control reviews. “They identify areas for improvement through audit procedures, and work with our internal accountant in a consultative nature,” states Gary.
“SVA does things I never thought an accounting firm would do. They come in and work with our team. They hold us to our mark. They meet quarterly to review our goals and objectives and make us accountable. It is a great relationship.”
From the day-to-day decisions to looking ahead into the future, SVA is a trusted resource that Nev’s Ink relies on to help them progress for the next 10 years and beyond.
