SVA's Profitability, Acquisition, and Tax Planning Expertise Benefits Innovative Signs

Innovative Signs was founded in August 2001 by Chad and Stephanie Schultz. They serve Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin with a variety of sign options. The business focuses on three areas: large format digital printing, manufacturing LED illuminated signage, and working with national sign companies.

When asked how they were introduced to SVA, Chad says, “I met one of the SVA professionals in my COSBE roundtable group. After listening to him talk about how he has helped other clients, we moved to SVA. My interest in working with SVA was that we wanted to know if we were profitable.”

Through the years, SVA helped Innovative Signs with tax planning, buying equipment, purchasing a building, and hiring new staff.

“In 2013, we purchased another company in the Wauwatosa area and we had no idea what we were looking at. The SVA team helped us review the assets and customer base as well as determine a purchase price that was beneficial to both the seller and us,” says Chad. “We are a professional sign company, and we know signs. SVA is a professional accounting firm that knows accounting. We have a major comfort level with them because of their responsiveness, their understanding of our needs, and their professionalism.”
