SVA 2023 Veterinary Industry Salary and Benefits Survey

The SVA Veterinary Services team is excited to roll out the Salary and Benefits Survey!

In today’s competitive labor market, having the latest information will ensure your practice is appropriately positioned to maintain and recruit staff. Our survey will gather salary and benefit information based on years of experience for key positions in your practice.

These positions include:

  • Receptionists/Client Service
  • Bookkeeper
  • Manager/Administration
  • Kennel Assistants
  • Certified Veterinary Technicians
  • Non-Certified Veterinary Technicians
  • Veterinary Assistants
  • Non-Owner DVMs

What You Need to Know:

  • The survey should only take 15 minutes to complete.
  • Before starting the survey, gather a list of the hourly wage and years of experience for the positions noted above.
  • For each position, you will need the average hourly wage based on 0-3 years of experience, 4-9 years of experience, and 10+ years of experience.
  • Deadline for survey responses is August 29, 2023.
