SVA’s Weyenberg Named Chairperson of WALA

SVA is pleased to announce that Glen Weyenberg, President of SVA Certified Public Accountants, has been named as Board Chairperson of the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA). Glen has been a member of the board for the past six years.

“I am both honored and excited to serve and contribute to the association's mission of supporting assisted living communities, staff, and residents through advocacy, education, and service,” said Glen. “I look forward to collaborating with WALA members on the many challenges we face in the healthcare industry.”

Glen has more than 30 years of experience consulting in business continuity and estate planning in addition to the tax and business areas. He specializes in the real estate area, including senior housing campus developments, and also has extensive experience related to the financial reporting requirements of investors, governmental agencies, and lending institutions. In addition, he consults on tax credits common to real estate such as low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, energy credits, and new markets credits.

WALA is the largest trade association in Wisconsin that represents the assisted living profession.
