SVA’s Mehlberg is Featured Expert for the National Funeral Directors Association

SVA Certified Public Accountants’ professional Nancy Mehlberg, CVB, EA will present a webinar for the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) on June 25, 2019. The presentation, titled Plan Ahead for a Successful Transition, will discuss how to conduct a thorough assessment well before one’s exit date and create a customized action plan that will maximize success. After viewing the presentation, attendees of this webinar will be able to determine attainable exit objectives, uncover the most pressing issues to address, create a customized action plan, and identify five critical elements of a successful exit plan.

Nancy is also a featured contributor in the NFDA’s monthly publication The Director. Her article, titled Exit Planning Is a Process, Not an Event, delves into the five critical elements of a successful exit plan in much greater detail. These five areas include target departure date, preliminary financial needs analysis, target successor, preliminary valuation, and future cash flow estimate.

Nancy is a Principal with SVA Certified Public Accountants, S.C. and member of the Business Advisory Services group. She helps clients improve their company profitability and protect their interests by clearly understanding their future goals. She works closely and proactively with clients with an emphasis in business and income tax planning and financial reporting. Nancy works with business owners to develop an exit planning strategy using the BEI Seven Step™ Exit Planning Process.
