Theran Welsh, CPA, Principal with SVA Certified Public Accountants, will present a webinar for Lorman Education Services on December 15, 2021 titled Reading and Understanding Cash Flow Analysis.
A balance sheet is a snapshot of a business’s financial situation at a single point in time. An income statement summarizes revenue, expenses, and net income for the entire year or another period of time. Both of these financial statements are important tools to measure the success of a business, but they do little to explain where cash actually goes. During this webinar, Theran will discuss how cash truly moves through a business, how to prepare a cash flow budget, and how to identify ways to put working capital to work to increase shareholder value.
Upon completion of the webinar, attendees will be able to discuss tools to manage cash flow, review and compare income financial statements to operating cash flow, identify the importance of timing, and explain managing sources and uses of financing.
