Jacob is a Principal with Business Advisory Services at SVA Certified Public Accountants, S.C. He uses his experience to provide clients with guidance and consulting in areas such as federal and state income tax planning, debt forgiveness, Roth IRA conversions, energy-efficiency tax incentives, and multi-state tax compliance. His experience working with businesses in the professional services, distribution, construction, retail and real estate industries provide the ability to consult with clients in a variety of areas.

Jacob helps clients find opportunities for tax savings and other incentives by committing his time spent with clients to understanding their processes and operations, and by learning what is most important to them. Jacob's aim is to be a trusted advisor for all aspects of the client’s needs. This includes tax structuring and preparation services for not only the business entity but also the individual owner(s) and in many cases their family as well. In addition to client work, Jacob spends time researching new and proposed tax law changes, and enjoys networking with a variety of professionals in the Madison business world.

Personal

Jacob has been married to his wife Sarah for over 10 years; together they have two young sons. As a family they enjoy their annual vacation spent in Door County Wisconsin. On the artistic side, Jake and his wife participate in ballroom dance performances throughout the year. He also enjoys listening to and playing all kinds of music, including sporadic rusty performances in a cover band from his college days.

Jacob is also a sports fan, as both a participant and bystander, including, volleyball, and distance running. Lately, however, most of his activity is short-distance running, as in "chasing my boys around the house and yard."
