SVA Certified Public Accountants professional Douglas Berry, CPA, CGMA will present an educational seminar on September 20, 2018 for the Madison Area Builders Association (MABA). The seminar, titled Ins and Outs of Serving on a Board of Directors, will discuss what exactly it means to serve on a board of directors and how to make sure these boards are powerful and successful.
Douglas is the Principal-in-Charge of Assurance Services at SVA Certified Public Accountants. He helps clients manage risk within their organization through assurance services such as financial statement audits and through consulting with clients on internal control design and organizational governance. Douglas works with clients on accounting, tax and consulting projects, including financial statement audits and reviews, exempt organization and partnership tax return filings and internal control reviews. In addition, Douglas works with closely-held businesses on financial statements preparation and reporting, tax planning and other management advisory services.
