Molly Bannan, who will begin her accounting career at SVA Certified Public Accountants in January 2017, is featured in the recent issue of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (WICPA) On Balance magazine. In the article, Molly explains why she chose an accounting career and the goals she’s accomplished, in particular she received the 2016 WICPA Educational Foundation scholarship which helps fund the 150-hour education requirement needed to obtain a CPA certification.
Also in the article, Molly discusses how SVA Certified Public Accountants has been instrumental in her career path. Molly began at SVA in an internship in the spring semester of her junior year. To quote Molly, “At SVA, they start you right in. You learn so much more actually experiencing the work in real life.” Molly went on to credit the great mentor and training program at SVA in providing her support along the way. “I had a good mentor right from the start,” Molly said. “I never hesitated about going to her when I had questions.”
